We aim to help meet some of the demands created by the housing shortage by providing healthy, modern and affordable transportable cabins. Comfy Cabins are rent in Auckland and throughout the Hamilton-Waikato region. If you’d like to buy a cabin or rent to own a cabin, we can help with that too.

Modern portable cabins that are attractive, healthy living spaces

We’ve designed our rental cabins and cabins for sale to look stylish, with modern design featuring dark neutral tones outside and soft light colours inside, our portable cabins are easy on the eye. Carpet, curtains, economical lighting, sensor light and a timber deck are included.

Our cabins for sale or rent include a double glazed windows and ranchsliders and full insulation in the walls, ceiling and under the floor. Comfy Cabins need very little heating which means you save on power bills, but more importantly our cabins are warm and dry, providing a healthy place to sleep, work or play.

Who are we?

Owners Lynette and Bruce Hopkins bring community interests and business expertise to the Comfy Cabins venture.

Lynette and Bruce devote 1-2 days a week to working with people within their South Auckland community. They help facilitate skills trading and encouraging people to help each other in practical ways, as well as business skills training and promoting business networking and cooperation within the community, while supporting themselves through the Comfy Cabin business and other business activities.

Previously, Lynette and Bruce owned a Speedy Signs Franchise from 2000-2016 (16 years), and built it up to being the largest and top performing Speedy Signs store in New Zealand during that time.
